Attorney Ed Battersby received a Bachelor of Arts degree with a double major in economics and history from Marygrove College in 1980 and a Juris Doctor degree from the Detroit College of Law in 1983.
He has been practicing Plaintiff’s personal injury trial work exclusively since 1983 as a member of the State Bar of Michigan. Ed’s trial work includes automobile negligence, medical malpractice, product liability, dog attack and premises liability cases.
Ed has also been admitted and qualified to practice as an attorney in the United States District Court for the Eastern District of Michigan and Western District of Michigan. He has appeared in the Michigan Supreme Court and Michigan Court of Appeals. Ed also serves as a Plaintiff’s Mediator for the Mediation Tribunal Association and as a Plaintiff’s Arbitrator in Independent Arbitration.
Ed is a member of Our Lady of Sorrows Catholic Church, where he participates as a volunteer with the School Committee, Athletic Committee, and Fine Arts Committees.
