Coffee for Teachers: A Community Thank You

During the 2020 school year, students and educators faced new challenges as schools adapted to remote and hybrid learning during the COVID-19 pandemic. As families and teachers worked to navigate unusual back-to-school routines, our team at The Sam Bernstein Law Firm wanted to recognize the positive impact teachers make in our communities.

Mark Bernstein, president of The Sam Bernstein Law Firm, shared at the time, “This school year we’re especially grateful for the impact teachers make on our lives. Now more than ever, teachers include parents and other caregivers helping with virtual learning at home.”

We partnered with Biggby Coffee and invited members of our community to share stories about the educators who made a difference in their lives. It was inspiring to hear stories from the individuals who helped support learning during an especially challenging year.

Parents, guardians, students and their teachers submitted memories and reflections about the people who encouraged learning during a stressful time for all.

Through this partnership, several educators, including teachers, parents and caregivers, were selected to receive coffee gift cards and a coffee mug as a token of appreciation for the important work they do.

“It’s our way of recognizing the work teachers do for our families every day,” Mark Bernstein added.
