BACKGROUND

Codie joined Sam Bernstein Law in 2025.

Codie is striving to live 1,000 lives in this one lifetime, seeing everything as an opportunity. She played D2 collegiate basketball where she earned her undergraduate degree in both Political Science and History. After that, Codie studied International Peace Studies while exploring more of the world at Trinity College Dublin in Ireland.

Codie went to law school to wield the tools to help navigate the complexities people face in their lives and work to ensure they find a remedy that is fair here in Michigan. Throughout law school, she worked full-time as a Senior Communications advisor at the Michigan House of Representatives. People are her passion, and as an attorney, it is important to Codie that people are heard and always have an advocate. It is a privilege to represent others at this firm.

Outside of work, Codie enjoys spending time with her niece, drinking coffee with friends, reading a good book, and meeting new people. She’s grateful for the opportunity to work hard at work, and then enjoy all the little things in her downtime.
