BACKGROUND

Dawn wanted to become an attorney in order to ensure everyone has equal access to the judicial system. She received her undergraduate degree in health policy from the University of Michigan-Dearborn and then went on to complete her post-bachelorette paralegal certification. While working as a paralegal she attended law school at Western Michigan University-Cooley Law School. In addition to working as a paralegal while attending law school, Dawn was also a member of the Cooley Law School Honor Council and worked in the Sixty Plus Clinic.

Dawn is a proud member of the Michigan Bar Association, as well as, the Michigan Association for Justice.

In her spare time Dawn enjoys spending time with her husband, three children and three cats.
