BACKGROUND

Joe joined The Sam Bernstein Law Firm in 2013.

Joe earned his bachelor’s degree from Grand Valley State University. Following this, he attended John Marshall Law School where he received his Juris Doctorate.

Joe is a proud member of both the Michigan and American Association for Justice, the National Traumatic Brain Injury Litigation Group and St. Hubert’s Catholic Church. Additionally, he belongs to the Michigan Bar Association, 6th Circuit United States of Appeals and the United States District Court for both the Eastern and Western Districts. Throughout his career Joe has achieved many awards including 2019 National Trial Lawyers Top 100 Civil Litigators, 2019 and 2020 10 Best Personal Injury Attorneys for Client Satisfaction, 2020 A&P’s Top 10 Personal Injury Attorney for Michigan, 2022 National Trial Lawyers Top 100 Civil Plaintiff Attorneys, 2022 Best of the Best Top Ten Attorney for the State of Michigan and Top 100 Lawyers 2022 Attorney of the Year!

When Joe is not working, he enjoys coaching many athletic teams including softball, hockey, baseball and basketball. He also enjoys biking, playing golf and spending time with his family.
