BACKGROUND

Attorney Kyle Smith joined The Sam Bernstein Law Firm in 2024.

Kyle received his J.D. from Michigan State University College of Law in 2012 and became an attorney to be an advocate for others. Being an attorney offers incredible opportunities to serve others, often during the most difficult times of their lives. With this comes a tremendous responsibility to secure the best possible outcome for them. That is not something he takes lightly, and he views it as a privilege to have clients place their trust in him.

Kyle has achieved many honors and awards throughout his career. He was named a Super Lawyers Rising Star from 2017 through 2022. He achieved the title of Super Lawyer in 2024. Michigan Lawyers Weekly named him an Up and Coming Lawyer in 2019. Kyle also held the title of State Bar of Michigan Negligence Section Young Lawyers’ Co-Chairperson from 2018 – 2021.

In his spare time, Kyle enjoys spending time with his wife and two beautiful daughters, as well as with his parents, brothers, and sister. He also enjoys spending time with friends, golfing, being on the lake, listening to country music, cheering for his Michigan State Spartans, and going to church.
