BACKGROUND

Rebecca joined The Sam Bernstein Law Firm in 2009.

Rebecca became an attorney to help people get through tough times in their life. She received her bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from Central Michigan University. Rebecca then went on to graduate from the University of Detroit Law School. Most recently, she is now a proud alumni of Harvard Business School after graduating from the school’s Advanced Management Program.

Rebecca began her legal career as a medical malpractice litigator. She joined The Sam Bernstein Law Firm as the disability department director before being promoted to the Chief Operating Officer in 2014 and then Chief Legal Officer in 2018. She continues to represent clients in these roles, such as several Larry Nassar sexual assault survivors. In 2022 she became the President of the firm, further increasing her responsibilities. Rebecca is proud member of the Michigan Bar Association as well as an executive board member for the Michigan Association for Justice. She is also licensed by the U.S. District Court for both the Eastern and Western Districts of Michigan..

Rebecca married her college sweetheart with whom they have two sons and a rescue puppy named Reggie. Outside of spending time with her family and friends, Rebecca enjoys cooking, traveling and boating.
