Clark Park Coalition

Clark Park Coalition was formed in 1992 with a mission to provide an array of diverse, high-quality recreational, educational, social and mentoring programs for southwest Detroit families. This non-profit organization, in partnership with the City of Detroit’s Recreation Department, helps to develop life-long skills in the community’s youth through various year-round programs such as: hockey, soccer, baseball, tennis, football, and many more!

One event that is loved by many throughout the Detroit community is the annual Winter Carnival and Charity Hockey Classic. This even is free to the public and hosts many men’s and women’s hockey games throughout the day. Along with vendor booths, a petting zoo and several other activities, this family friendly event has become a loved tradition by all!

From free events to skills building activities, Clark Park Coalition plans to keep the community love alive for many years to come. They have done an amazing job at revamping one of the city’s beloved parks over the past 30+ years and have no plans to stop anytime soon. With their donation, Clark Park Coalition will continue to host events and maintain the beautiful Clark Park.
