BACKGROUND

Attorney Matthew Koss joined The Sam Bernstein Law Firm in 2023.

Matthew became an attorney because he wanted a career that would provide both continued intellectual and professional stimulation, as well as a way to utilize his communication and negotiation skills to help others.

Matthew is a proud member of the Michigan State Bar and Michigan Association for Justice. He has successfully tried many cases to verdict with consistently favorable results for his clients.

Matthew has been married for 10 years to his wife, Meg. They have 2 boys, Dexter and Calvin, and a dog, Lucy. In the warmer months, the family loves to spend time outdoors boating, fishing and swimming. Matthew and his family also love to travel, especially to the Caribbean and warmer climates in the winter. He loves following and attending all Detroit sports teams, especially the Lions. Matthew is also a proud coach of his son’s flag football team.
