BACKGROUND

Attorney Wafa Berry joined The Sam Bernstein Law Firm in 2024.

Wafa knew she wanted to be an attorney since she was 11 years old as she fell in love with the idea of fighting zealously for those who can’t or don’t know how to fight for themselves. That love for helping others never went away; it was only coupled with the love of the law itself.

During law school, Wafa was on the Board of Advocates and in MSU’s Trial Practice Institute, where she received certification in Trial Practice. Now, she is a member of the State Bar of Michigan. Wafa has also been admitted to appear before both the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Michigan and the U.S. District Court for the Western District of Michigan.

Outside of work, Wafa spends most of her time with family and friends, whether that’s trying different restaurants, going to the movies, playing board games, or just lounging around. When she gets the chance, she loves traveling and going to concerts, comedy shows, and sporting games!
