Litigation Attorney

Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced Litigation Attorney to join our legal team. Responsibilities include managing all phases of litigation, drafting pleadings and motions, conducting legal research, and representing clients in court. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, excellent communication abilities, and a proven track record in civil litigation. A Juris Doctor (JD) and active state bar membership are required.

Responsibilities and Duties:

Case Management: Handle all aspects of litigation, including strategy development and document drafting.
Court Representation: Represent clients in various legal proceedings, advocating effectively.
Client Consultation: Advise clients on legal matters and provide strategic counsel.
Legal Research: Conduct thorough legal research to support case strategies.
Negotiation: Negotiate settlements and advise clients on their best options.
Team Collaboration: Work closely with colleagues for efficient case management.
Client Relations: Maintain communication and build strong client relationships.

Qualifications and Skills:

JD degree from an accredited law school.
Licensed to practice law in Michigan.
3+ years of litigation experience, focusing on personal injury.
Successful track record in complex case management and trial litigation.
Strong oral and written communication, advocacy, and negotiation skills.
Proficient in legal research, writing, and case management software.
