BACKGROUND

Katherine joined Sam Bernstein Law in 2018. 

After completing her undergraduate degree at Michigan State University, Katherine worked for a few years before attending law school at Campbell University in Raleigh, North Carolina. Through her time with Legal Aid of North Carolina and Disability Rights North Carolina, Katherine knew she wanted to assist clients with disabilities and help people when they are at their most vulnerable. 

After returning to Michigan in 2016, Katherine joined the Oakland County Bar Association, where she was awarded the Bonnie L. Beutler Outstanding New Lawyer Award. She is also a member of the Detroit Bar Association, MAJ, and AAJ. 

When she is not working, Katherine enjoys Michigan State and Detroit sporting events, the DIA and DSO, and hiking in national parks with her family.
