Children's Literacy Network

Children's Literacy Network (CLN) is a non-profit organization who's history can be traced back as far as 1991. Starting from humble roots, CLN began with a garage full of books and a goal of encouraging young parents to read to their children in order to solidify a foundation of language and literacy. They continued as a book-giving type of organization until 2016, when they began to work strategically in order to provide services through connected programs in communities and schools.

Through programs such as Read with Kids, Book Pals and events like Flip Night, Children's Literacy Network is able to connect with children of all ages from kindergarteners to 3rd graders and beyond. CLN isn't just focused on children, they also host events and programs that get the whole family involved as a way to promote literacy at a core-principal level.

From poetry to writing, the excitement can be seen in the faces of each child that partakes in these exercises. Relying on the efforts of volunteers and personal donations, Children's Literacy Network not only strengthens literacy for many families, but they also help provide food and a safe environment for our children to grow. What started as a way to get more books in the hands of more students has evolved into so much more that continues to support and excel our communities. The Sam Bernstein Law Firm is proud to be able to help support such an amazing organization in their continued effort to improve our community!
