A study published in the Journal of the National Cancer Institute showed farmers with regular exposure to glyphosate displayed significantly higher biomarkers for cancer compared to a control group that did not come into contact with Roundup.

Additionally, scientists at the International Agency for Research on Cancer (IARC), the research branch of the World Health Organization (WHO), concluded glyphosate is “probably carcinogenic” after extensively studying its effects animals and humans in several countries.

Furthermore, researchers at the University of Washington’s Department of Environmental & Occupational Health Sciences found exposure to glyphosate may increase the risk of cancer by as much as 41 percent.

WHAT IS THE BASIS FOR THE ROUNDUP® CANCER LAWSUITS?

WHAT IS NON-HODGKIN’S LYMPHOMA?

Non-Hodgkin’s lymphoma (NHL), also known as non-Hodgkin lymphoma or simply lymphoma, is a type of cancer that attacks the immune system through white blood cells called lymphocytes. The two types of lymphocytes are B-cells or T-cells. While non-Hodgkin’s lymphoma can affect either kind, B-cell lymphomas are more common.

The disease can start anyplace in the body where lymph tissue is found, although it can also involve the skin.
