Integrated Media Buyer
Job Description:
The Integrated Media Planner will be responsible for the day-to-day operations of all offline campaigns. This is a collaborative position within the marketing department where larger goals and projects are discussed as a team. However, the ideal candidate must be self-motivated since a large amount of the daily workload will be completed individually.
Responsibilities
- Day to day management of offline campaigns (TV, Radio, OTT, OOH)
- Able to place all offline campaigns from start to finish ensuring maximum efficiency and effectiveness (Avail, negotiate, place, monitor, post and invoice)
- Manage invoice process for all campaigns
- Able to identify problems and/or opportunities and optimize campaigns based on results.
- Manage and analyze competitive data
- Ensure traditional budget is up to date and campaigns are not over budget
- Assist with CRM data analysis when applicable
- Manage vendor relationships and negotiations for campaigns
- Keep up-to-date on changes within traditional mediums and proactively suggest optimizations and new campaigns
- Ability to analyze data and trends in order to continually optimize campaigns
- Provide campaign performance reporting and analysis
- Ability to identify and analyze opportunities for growth and incremental opportunities
- Bring issues/concerns to CMO’s attention before they become problems, offering solutions, and advising of potential delivery delays
Requirements
- 1-3 Years of experience in traditional media (Brand, station or agency side)
- Comfortable using and analyzing media buying metrics (CPP, CPM etc)
- Solid knowledge of media buying tools like Freewheel/STRATA, Kantar etc
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Attention to detail, strong problem-solving skills, analytical mind-set and ability to multi-task are a must
- Bachelor’s degree in marketing, advertising or relevant field
