Nicholas Manikas began at The Sam Bernstein Law Firm in 2015. Nicholas graduated from the James Madison College at Michigan State University before attending Law School at Wayne State University. His legal career has spanned over 35 years.
Nicholas decided he wanted to be a lawyer when he interned for a Recorder’s Court judge in Detroit during his undergrad education. After law school, he worked at a small firm in downtown Detroit doing sports-related law with clients such as Alan Trammel and Lou Whittaker.
Nicholas then began doing Personal Injury work and has gained over 20 years of experience representing injured people collect their benefits. He also has 10 years’ experience doing defense work and brings the lessons he learned there to court with him today to help get his clients get the compensation they deserve. He has had numerous million-dollar verdicts and settlements during his career.
Nicholas used to spend his free time coaching his kids’ sports teams, but now that they are grown he spends his time playing basketball, walking his dog, riding his motorcycle, and rooting for the Spartans.
